Detailed Services

Preventive Dentistry

Dental Cleanings & Exams

Regular dental check-ups and professional cleanings are the foundation of good oral health. During your visit, our dental hygienists will gently remove plaque and tartar build-up, polish your teeth, and check for signs of tooth decay, gum disease, and other oral health issues.

Dr. Greene recommends visiting us every six months for optimal oral health maintenance. During these visits, we'll also perform oral cancer screenings and take any necessary X-rays to detect problems that aren't visible during a visual examination.

Dental Sealants

Dental sealants are thin, protective coatings applied to the chewing surfaces of the back teeth (molars) to prevent decay. They are particularly beneficial for children but can be recommended for adults as well.

The application process is quick, painless, and can protect teeth for several years. Sealants work by filling in the grooves and pits of the teeth where food particles and bacteria often get trapped.

Fluoride Treatments

Fluoride is a natural mineral that helps strengthen tooth enamel and prevent tooth decay. Professional fluoride treatments provide a higher concentration of fluoride than what's found in toothpaste and mouthwash.

The treatment is quick and easy, involving the application of a fluoride gel, foam, or varnish to the teeth. It's particularly recommended for patients at high risk of developing tooth decay.

Restorative Dentistry

Tooth-Colored Fillings

When decay damages a tooth, we remove the damaged portion and fill the area with a durable material to restore the tooth's function and appearance. We use tooth-colored composite resin fillings that blend seamlessly with your natural teeth.

These modern fillings are not only aesthetically pleasing but also bond directly to the tooth structure, providing additional support and requiring less removal of healthy tooth material than traditional amalgam fillings.

Crowns & Bridges

Dental crowns are custom-made caps that cover damaged or weakened teeth to restore their shape, size, strength, and appearance. They're recommended for teeth that are broken, worn down, or have large fillings.

Dental bridges replace missing teeth by spanning the gap created by one or more missing teeth. They consist of artificial teeth (pontics) anchored by crowns on the adjacent natural teeth or implants.

Root Canal Therapy

When infection or inflammation develops inside a tooth, root canal therapy may be necessary to save the tooth and alleviate pain. The procedure involves removing the infected pulp, cleaning and disinfecting the inside of the tooth, and then filling and sealing it.

With modern techniques and anesthesia, root canal treatment is no more uncomfortable than getting a filling. It can save a tooth that might otherwise need to be extracted.

Dentures & Partials

For patients missing multiple teeth, dentures can restore function and appearance. Full dentures replace all teeth in an arch, while partial dentures replace several missing teeth when some natural teeth remain.

Our custom-made dentures are designed to fit comfortably and look natural. We offer both traditional removable dentures and implant-supported options for improved stability.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Teeth Whitening

Professional teeth whitening can dramatically brighten your smile by removing stains and discoloration. We offer both in-office whitening for immediate results and take-home kits for gradual whitening at your convenience.

Our professional-grade whitening products are more effective than over-the-counter options and are administered under the supervision of our dental team to ensure safety and optimal results.

Porcelain Veneers

Veneers are thin shells of porcelain custom-made to cover the front surface of teeth, changing their color, shape, size, or length. They're an excellent solution for teeth that are discolored, worn, chipped, misaligned, or have gaps between them.

The procedure typically requires two visits: one for preparation and impressions, and another for bonding the custom-made veneers to your teeth. With proper care, veneers can last for many years.

Dental Bonding

Dental bonding uses tooth-colored resin material to repair chipped, cracked, discolored, or misshapen teeth. It's a less expensive alternative to veneers and can usually be completed in a single visit.

The procedure involves applying the resin to the tooth, shaping it, hardening it with a special light, and then polishing it to match the surrounding teeth. Bonding can last for several years with proper care.

Smile Makeovers

A smile makeover is a comprehensive treatment plan that combines multiple cosmetic procedures to achieve your ideal smile. It's customized to address your specific concerns and may include any combination of whitening, veneers, bonding, crowns, or other treatments.

During your consultation, Dr. Greene will discuss your smile goals and develop a personalized treatment plan to transform your smile.

Emergency Dental Care

Same-Day Emergency Appointments

Dental emergencies can happen at any time, and prompt treatment is essential to relieve pain and prevent further damage. We reserve time in our daily schedule to accommodate emergency patients, often on the same day.

Whether you're experiencing severe tooth pain, have a broken or knocked-out tooth, lost a filling or crown, or have injured your gums or jaw, contact our office immediately for guidance and to schedule an emergency appointment.

After-Hours Emergency Support

For emergencies that occur outside of our regular office hours, we provide an emergency contact number for existing patients. Dr. Greene or a member of our team will guide you through steps to manage your situation until you can be seen at our office.
